Mayor’s Column December 23rd, 2023
Rohn Bishop, Mayor of Waupun

Hello Waupun!

As the year draws to a close and we embrace the festive spirit of Christmas, I am filled with immense gratitude and pride to be serving as your Mayor. Our city, Waupun, is more than just a place; it’s a vibrant community bound by warmth, generosity, and a shared sense of belonging.

This Christmas, as we celebrate the birth of Jesus and the true meaning of this holiday, let us reflect on the values of love, compassion, and giving that define us not just as a community, but as a family. Waupun has always been a place where neighbors care for each other, where kindness is a common language, and where every helping hand makes a significant difference.

Our community’s spirit shines brightest when we come together, sharing joy and hope. This Christmas, let us remember those less fortunate and extend our generosity to make their holiday season brighter. The true spirit of Christmas lies in giving and sharing the love that we have in abundance.

As we look forward to 2024, let’s carry this spirit of community and hope into the new year. Waupun is a city with a bright future, brimming with opportunities and possibilities. Together, we will continue to build a community where every resident can thrive, where dreams are nurtured, and where every achievement is celebrated.

May this Christmas fill your homes with joy, your hearts with love, and your lives with laughter. And may the coming year be filled with prosperity, health, and happiness for you and your loved ones.

Merry Christmas, Waupun, and here’s to a splendid and hopeful 2024!

God Bless,
Mayor Rohn
