WAUPUN — The Waupun Gymnastics Club is holding a fundraiser for renovations and new equipment.
Founded in 2008 as “Gym Stars Gymnastics”, the Gymnastics Club was operated out of the south gym at Rock River Intermediate School. Due to the ever-growing size of the organization, they recently purchased the former Blakey Auto Parts building at 16 Fond du Lac St that would better suit the organization’s future needs.
Renovating the building and purchasing new equipment for the space will require community aid. Club leadership has been hard at work applying for grants and sponsorships and working with the city to make sure the Gymnastics Club is as successful as possible and can continue to expand in the future.
Their Phase One goal is $12,000. As of February 2nd they are about $3,500 away from completing the goal according to their website.
