WAUPUN — The Waupun Business Alliance held their Third Annual Banquet on Thursday, March 27, 2025, at The Rock Golf Club.
The Waupun Business Alliance is an affiliate program of Envision Greater Fond du Lac, a sort of chamber of commerce for the Fond du Lac County area.
Attendees at the banquet heard from Envision Vice President Joe Venhuizen, Waupun City Administrator Kathy Schlieve, Mayor of Waupun Rohn Bishop, and Sadie Howell, President/CEO of Envision Greater Fond du Lac.
The Waupun Business Alliance presented awards to Gysber’s Jewelry, Business Legacy Award, and Waupun Community Center, Community Impact Award. Special recognition awards were also given to the Waupun Truck-N-Show and Mike Maly.
The City also presented awards to United Cooperative for Best New Business, The Lodge for Best Mixed-Use Redevelopment, and Green Collar Grooming for Best BID Redevelopment.
Congressman Glenn Grothman also presented Certificates of Congressional Recognition to each of the award recipients.
Cocktail hour began at 5:00PM, dinner at 6:00PM, and program at 6:45PM. The Waupun High School Student Jazz Quartet played during the networking hour, and a raffle was held by the newly launched Waupun IncubatorEDU.

“We are very proud to serve this community, and we’ll keep working for positive economic development in Waupun,” he said. “With the banquet now in the rearview, it’s time to turn ahead to the annual WBA Golf Outing.”
