WAUPUN — The list of candidates running for seats on the next Waupun City Council has been released. The deadline for filing for the April 4th Spring Election was 5pm on January 3rd, 2023.
The seats up for election are Alderman Districts 1 (consists of Wards 1, 2, 3, and 13), 3 (consists of Wards 5 and 6), and 5 (consists of Wards 9 and 10) in the City of Waupun. The list of candidates for each race is below:
Aldermanic District 1: Jason Westphal (Incumbent) and Karissa Smits
Aldermanic District 3: Will Langford (Incumbent)
Aldermanic District 5: Dan Siebers (Incumbent)
The election will be held on April 4th, 2023. The current members of City Council will hold their seats until the Common Council meeting on April 18th, 2023 where the new council will be sworn in.
