Representative Mark Born Sworn-In to State Assembly

MADISON —Today, Representative Mark Born (R-Beaver Dam) was sworn in to the Wisconsin State Legislature’s 107th Regular Session.

“I am honored that the people of the 37th Assembly District have chosen me to represent them this session. I look forward to working with my legislative colleagues to craft a biennial budget and legislation that serves the best interest of all Wisconsinites,” said Rep. Born.

For the 2025-2026 Legislative Session Representative Born has been named as the Assembly Co-Chair of the Joint Committee on Finance and the Vice-Chair of the Joint Audit Committee. He has also been named a member of the Committee on Rules, the Joint Committee on Employment Relations, and the Joint Legislative Council.

“In this legislative session I will work tirelessly to provide tax relief to Wisconsin and return the surplus to the hardworking taxpayers in our state. Additionally, I plan to continue my work to keep communities safe, and I remain committed to creating a comprehensive state budget that works for Wisconsin,” said Rep. Born.

Representative Born has been elected to the Assembly since 2012.


The 37th Assembly District includes the Cities of Beaver Dam, Fox Lake, Mayville, and Waupun; Villages of Brownsville, Kekoskee, Lomira, Oakfield, and Randolph; and the Towns of Beaver Dam, Burnett, Byron, Calamus, Chester, Fox Lake, Leroy, Lomira, Oakfield, Trenton, Waupun, and Westford.
