WAUPUN — The Waupun Fine Arts Committee wrapped up their annual “Concerts in the Park” program with closing act Acoustic Grove Thursday evening.
Acoustic Grove is a Mayville-based rock and country acoustic cover band.
Last year Acoustic Grove was the opening act for the Concerts in the Park 2022. They also opened for Celebrate Waupun 2023 last month.
While the high heat Thursday drove away some attendees, the event was highly enjoyed by those in attendance.
Last week three-man-band The Characters played a concert, preceded by the Beaver Dam Community Band and The Del Rays.
Next week Waupun Fine Arts will be hosting their annual Fine Arts & Craft Fair, which will include over 60 vendors, concessions, entertainment, live music by Scotty Meyer, and a sidewalk chalk drawing competition. The fair will be hosted Saturday at West End Park in Waupun from 10AM to 3PM and catered by local nonprofit organizations.
