Waupun Fine Arts Receives Grant From Beaver Dam Community Foundation

WAUPUN — The Waupun Fine Arts Committee received a grant of $515 last night from the Beaver Dam Area Community Foundation, an organization intended to provide grants for and help promote area nonprofits.

The grant was received by the Fine Arts committee at their meeting Monday night held at the Imagine That! Art Studio in downtown Waupun.

The Beaver Dam Area Community Foundation has provided over $110,000 in grants to over 40 area nonprofits, including Waupun Fine Arts and the Waupun Historical Society. Members of the community who are interested in donating to the Foundation can find information on their website here:

Following the grant announcement the Fine Arts Committee discussed plans for this year’s events, including the Art Class on April 1st, the Concerts in the Park in July, and the Arts and Craft Fair in August. The Fine Arts Committee will also be participating in the Waupun Wine Walk on May 5th, in partnership with Imagine That! Art Studio.

Waupun Fine Arts will also be attending the first Waupun Business Alliance banquet held next Thursday.
