GREEN LAKE — Interdenominational men’s ministry program ONE Waupun held their second annual conference Saturday. Hosted at Green Lake Conference Center, the event was attended by more than 120 members of the Waupun area community.
ONE Waupun was originally founded in 2019 as an interdenominational community outreach ministry. The driving motivation for creating the organization was to directly serve fellowship and community needs. Made up of more than 100 members of multiple area churches, the organization seeks to grow community faith in Christ, and increase the prevalence of Christ’s love in individuals’ lives.
The conference was an all-day program which featured a ministry video from Rick Warren, as well as guest speakers Bob Lenz, the founder and president of Life Promotions and chief organizer of Life Fest, and Aaron Baart, Chief of Staff and Dean of Chapel at Dordt University. Interspersed with the messages were times for worship and small group discussions.
Last year, Mayor of Waupun Rohn Bishop announced a partnership with SERVE Waupun, the official outreach program of ONE Waupun, to help struggling members of the community.
