WAUPUN — Volksfest 2026 was held Friday and Saturday, September 11 and 12 in the big tent at Tanner Park.
The event included German-style beer, Hammerschlagen, stein holding contests, car show and vendor market, and a stumpf fiddle contest. Food was served by Fox Lake Sno Blazers with fish fry on Friday and brat fry both days, and Pella Lutheran offered desserts at their table.
Live music was performed by Goodtime Dutchmen and Copper Box on Friday, and Waupun High School Band, The Brueggen Family Band, the 2/5th Party Band, and Dexter Road on Saturday.
Craft beers were brewed by local brewpubs Knuth Brewing (Ripon) and Hoya Hop House (Waupun), as well as from Spaten, a company from Germany.
This year was sponsored by headliner My Property Shoppe, Homan Auto Group, National Exchange Bank and Trust, and Apache as platinum sponsors, among many others.
