WAUPUN — The Waupun Hockey Association held their 11th Annual Pink Out the Rink fundraiser hockey game Saturday evening. Final score 4-3 Waupun triumphing over McFarland.
“Pink Out” is an annual fundraiser hosted by the Waupun Hockey Association to help cover costs of local women suffering from breast cancer. This year’s Pink Out beneficiary was Alicia Schweder, who was diagnosed with breast cancer in October 2022.
The event had a wide array of raffle baskets, a bake sale, a 50/50 raffle, and chuck-a-puck game. The winner of the 50/50 raffle donated all of their winnings back to the fundraiser.
The Waupun Hockey Association also held a hockey alumni game earlier this month.
