WAUPUN — Waupun Fine Arts hosted the first 2022 “Concert in the Park” Thursday evening at West End Park. Concerts in the Park is a month-long event held Thursdays in July with a new band playing each week.
President of Waupun Fine Arts Lori Page gave a speech introducing the band Acoustic Grove and thanking the audience for attending this year’s Concerts in the Park. Page handed the mic over to Mayor Rohn Bishop who gave a few remarks about the importance of organizations like Fine Arts for organizing community events and thanked attendees for coming to support them.
Live music from the band Acoustic Grove was scheduled from 6:30pm to 8:30pm. The audience requested an encore and the band played until about 8:50pm.
Concession meals are sold by the Waupun Animal Shelter. Information booth operated by Fine Arts.
