WAUPUN — City Hall hosted a retirement party for Gary Sullivan Friday in the City Council chambers. Sullivan will be retiring from the Department of Public Works after working for the city for 12 years.
Mayor Rohn Bishop gave a short address at the retirement party to the assembled city workers. “Thanks for years of service and getting up to blow snow at any time of night,” Mayor Bishop said to Sullivan shortly before shaking his hand.
The Waupun Department of Public Works, headed by Jeff Daane, maintains city infrastructure.
