WAUPUN — A total of 47 sculptures were on display in Waupun this year including the live ice sculpting demonstrations held at Eagle Flexible Packaging on Saturday and My Property Shoppe on Sunday. On Saturday night, The Rock Golf Club hosted the dueling pianos gala, where another ice sculpture was on display in the buffet line.
A craft fair was held in the gym at the new Waupun Community Center both days, along with the Broken Spork in the kitchen. On Saturday in the multi-purpose room a presentation on history was performed by Zac Dickhut on Clarence Shaler, who donated or sculptured Waupun’s legacy collection of outdoor bronze sculptures. A “sculpture tour” bus also drove around town both afternoons, which discussed both the Shaler Collection and the ice sculptures from this year.
