WAUPUN — Chic Tique Girls LLC is celebrating its first year at its Waupun location this week.
Chic Tique is a home decor, boutique, and gift store that’s located on the corner of Main and Mill Street. The business started in Ripon three years ago and expanded to its location in Waupun last year.
The anniversary was marked by a ribbon cutting held in cooperation with Envision Greater Fond du Lac, which was held in front of the store on Monday at noon. Chic Tique owner Kristen Schultz received a Special Recognition Award from Envision at the event.
“We’ve been in business as a family business for three years now,” said Kristen Schultz, “It’s been one year in Waupun, we’re just super excited to have everyone come in and walk out feeling amazing and feeling happy.”
“Everyone downtown is so supportive and the loyalty of the customer base here in town is amazing, I can’t thank everybody enough,” she said. “Everybody has been super helpful within the last year and just super proud to call this another home for me.”
Ambassadors from Envision Greater Fond du Lac and the Waupun Business Alliance, members of the Waupun business community, and City staff were in attendance at the ribbon cutting.
Chic Tique can be found at 300 E Main St. in downtown Waupun. In-store specials will be available throughout this week starting Wednesday.
