WAUPUN — Midtown Market held their first “Winter Pop Up Market” in the warehouse Thursday evening, hosting over 15 stalls and open hours at Modern Mercantile.
The event was hosted by My Property Shoppe and sponsored by Trivent Waupun.
Midtown Market is the successor to the Waupun Farmer’s Market and is held in the east parking lot of the Mr Storage building. The Winter Midtown Market was a way to extend the market into the Christmas season, and offer more to the annual My Property Shoppe Christmas Light Contest trolley rides event.
The trolley rides were led by Mayor of Waupun Rohn Bishop and Thrivent director Jon Leonard.
Both the market and the trolley rides went from 5 to 8PM.
The stalls included a variety of crafts, custom clothing items, baked goods, jams, dehydrated candy, and mac’n’cheese from Bent Spork.
Voting for the Christmas Light Contest will be closed Saturday the 16th at 10PM. Final prizes are $1,000 for 1st place, $500 for second place, and $250 for third place. Winners to be announced Sunday.
