WAUPUN — Several Waupun hockey alumni on the Fond du Lac Bears and Sun Prairie Killer Bears faced off at Waupun Ice Arena last weekend.
The amateur hockey league game was held at 8PM on Friday, January 16, 2026.
Five of the Fond du Lac Bears players on the ice were Waupun alumni; 2 Micah Buchholz, 15 Jordan Foster, 28 Brady Beekman, 29 Malachi Buchholz, and 55 Jarrett Buchholz.
The starting lineup for the Fond du Lac Bears was composed of all five Waupun alumni.
Two of the Sun Prairie Killer Bees players were also Waupun alumni; 15 Dakota Stephens and 21 Brad Elvers.
Fond du Lac Bears 29 Malachi Buchholz scored a hat trick in the third period.
The Fond du Lac Bears triumphed 8-3 over the Sun Prairie Killer Bees.
