WAUPUN — Hoyahophousebrewing celebrated their first anniversary last weekend after opening as the first brewpub in Waupun last year.
The celebration was honored by holding extended hours on Saturday, January 10. Live music by Reece and Alex performed from 6 to 10PM, with the Packers game at 7PM. Hoya also invited a jewelry vendor and a tattoo artist to be in the side room throughout the day.
The following day, they made a post to Facebook thanking everyone supporting the business.
“One year ago, we took a leap of faith. We opened our doors not knowing exactly how the year would unfold, but believing deeply in the idea of creating a place where people could gather, connect, and feel at home,” the post said. “What we didn’t fully know then was just how much this brewery would come to mean to us. As owners, this dream started around our family table with conversations, sacrifices, and a lot of late nights. To see it come to life, and to watch it grow into something shared by so many, has been more meaningful than we can put into words.”

Events are regularly held at the new brewpub, including a Waupun Community Fund banquet held last November.
