WAUPUN — The Waupun Library Board heard more public input on the display policies Wednesday night as they discussed revisions to the draft introduced at last month’s meeting.

The Library Board met at the regular meeting on Wednesday, April 16 at 4:30PM. Before the Board discussed the draft, they heard input from seven individuals, including Pastor Forsell Gappa.

The issue regarding the display policy was first brought to the Library Board by Pastor Gappa at the meeting on January 15, which sparked a large reaction at the following meetings. Seeing the passion about the topic, the Library Board presented the first draft of a display policy at the March 19 meeting, which was revised and reviewed on Wednesday.

A copy of the draft was included in the meeting agenda packet, along with a copy of the Public Displays and Exhibits Policy in place since 2002.
