Beaver Dam Area Giving 100 Grant to Fox Lake Living Hope Pantry
BEAVER DAM — The Beaver Dam Area Giving 100 gathered Wednesday evening at Old Hickory Golf Club for its third-quarter grant meeting, awarding a $7,500 community grant to Living Hope Food Pantry.
The grant funds will be used to insulate Living Hope Food Pantry’s transport van, helping protect food and other supplies during transportation and allowing the organization to continue serving individuals and families throughout the area.
The Giving 100 is a community giving initiative in partnership with the Beaver Dam Area Community Foundation. Members contribute $100 per quarter and commit to one hour of their time at each quarterly meeting. Together, 100 members pool their contributions to award a $7,500 grant to a local organization at each meeting.
Next Grant Cycle Opens October 1
The next Giving 100 grant application period will be open October 1 through November 1, 2026.
All 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations, church groups, and municipalities working on a project that will benefit Dodge County are encouraged to apply. Organizations with a project that could benefit from Giving 100 funding are invited to submit an application during the upcoming grant cycle.
The next Giving 100 meeting will be held Thursday, November 12, at Wayland Academy, where members will hear from the selected grant applicants and vote to determine the next $7,500 grant recipient.
Seven Member Spots Remain — And 2027 Is Coming!
There are currently seven member spots remaining for anyone interested in joining the Giving 100 and supporting local organizations throughout the community. The annual investment is $400, along with just four hours of your time throughout the year.
With 2027 fast approaching, current Giving 100 members will also have the opportunity to recommit for another year. Members who choose not to continue will open additional spots for new community members to join.
“This is a simple way to make a meaningful impact in our community,” organizers said. “By bringing 100 people together, we are able to provide significant support to local organizations doing important work right here in our community.”
Looking for 2027 Event Hosts
The Giving 100 is also looking for businesses and organizations interested in hosting quarterly Giving 100 events in 2027.
Businesses with a location that can comfortably provide seating for approximately 100 people and that would be interested in welcoming the Giving 100 are encouraged to reach out. Hosting an event is a great opportunity to showcase your business while helping bring community members together to support local projects and organizations.

About Giving 100
The Beaver Dam Area Giving 100 brings community members together to collectively support local organizations. Members contribute $100 at each of four quarterly meetings and participate in the selection of grant recipients. Each quarter, the group awards a $7,500 grant to a local organization. Presenters are selected out of a hat once their applications are received. Applications that are not selected that quarter will remain for the year and do not need to be updated unless the scope of the project has changed.
