WAUPUN — Downtown Waupun held another Waupun Wine Walk during the Halloween weekend.
Participating businesses included Imagine That! Art Studio, Stone & Suede (with Glamour Shop and Ver Hage’s Furniture inside), Madeline Clothing Company, Our Bar, Hoyahophousebrewing, Bella Glo Beauty (with Butterfly Beauty Enhancements inside), Home Sweet Home Real Estate, The Graceful Nest, The Clothing Pallet, Brooks Shoes, Chic Tique, Werner Harmsen, Kartechner & Girls Flower Co, Charming Reads, Waupun Historical Society, and FVS Bank.
The Holiday Wine Walk went from 2PM until 5PM. Check-in was available at Charming Reads and Bella Glo Beauty.
That morning, the Waupun Fire Department held their 17th Annual Fill Our Tanks Food Drive, which received 2,405 pounds of food and a record $3,796 in monetary donations. The drive had locations in front of the Waupun Fire Department Safety Building, Piggly Wiggly, and Tractor Supply. All proceeds go to the Waupun Food Pantry.
Later in the afternoon, the Waupun Fire Department also partnered with Tony’s Pizza for their 15th Annual “Change Your Clocks, Change Your Batteries” Pizza Delivery Night, an awareness campaign where the Waupun Fire Department would deliver pizzas in the fire trucks and offer to check smoke alarms and remind residents of Daylight Savings Time ending that night.
