WAUPUN — A new downtown event was held this year in replacement of the Trick-or-Treat on Main previous years, the Fall Family Festival held in downtown Waupun.
The highly anticipated event was held Saturday, October 18 1PM to 5PM in downtown Waupun.
“Get ready for a festive afternoon filled with fun, food, and family-friendly activities — right in the heart of downtown!” Discover Downtown Waupun wrote in the Facebook event.
The event included many vendor booths, food trucks, mini pumpkin decorating, temporary tattoos, gourd bowling, face painting, and more. The Waupun Fire Department had much of their equipment available for viewing and public education.
Green Collar Grooming also held a costume contest for pets attending the event.
Main Street was closed to traffic between the railroad and Fond du Lac St for the duration of the event, with a detour for traffic going down Beaver Dam St, Lincoln St, and Watertown St.
