Hello Waupun!
It’s time to Celebrate Waupun! As we should, because Waupun has so much going on!
This is the 13th annual Celebrate Waupun and once again Jenny and I will be selling fish fry tickets Friday begining at 4pm. This year the fish is presented by Fox Lake Sno-Blazers. There are the annual fire department water barrel fights, and the Pier Pups return.
Saturday is the annual “See Waupun with Mayor Rohn” trolly tours of our city. Jaedon Buchholz and I lead the tours where you’ll learn all about the Shaler Sculptures, Waupun history, and lots of fun facts about Waupun. Saturday is also the annual bags tournament and the Imagine That! Art Zone.
Sunday kicks off with the community church service, American Legion Baseball, Bob Viking, the Homan Auto Car Show, and wraps up with the fireworks display. There is a change of storms Sunday night, and if it rains, the fireworks will be shot off on Monday night.
All three days include lots of live music with the headliners being Boogie and The Yo-Yo’z, Vic Ferrari, and Smart Mouth. As always, the event and music is all free, the parking is free, and the sculpture tours are free! Thank you to our local business for sponsoring Celebrate Waupun.
