WAUPUN — The Waupun Community Fund (WCF) is announcing their first grant award application. The WCF is affiliated with the Fond du Lac Area Foundation and is dedicated to improving life in the Waupun geographic area. WCF’s mission statement is ‘The Waupun Community Fund will support vision and efforts to enhance the quality of life in the Waupun Area.’
“Waupun Community Fund is excited to provide to the Waupun Community our first grant application,” said Tyler Schulz, WCF President. Grants will be awarded to programs that aim to make a distinct positive difference in the quality of life of a significant number of Waupun citizens or the community.
WCF is encouraging 501(c)(3) organizations to apply for this grant opportunity by April 30th, 2024. “The board looks forward to receiving and reviewing the applications and making the first grant awards. We are looking to support solutions to current community needs, promote volunteer involvement and ways to strengthen different organizations effectiveness within the Waupun Community,” said Schulz. WCF has limited funds available for unrestricted grants, in the range of $500- $5,000 and the project is required to be in the Waupun zip code, 53963.

The Waupun Community Fund has an advisory committee comprised of local members who encourage the growth of the fund and oversee the grant distributions. WCF is seeking funding for future grants to community projects and programs based on the changing needs of Waupun.
