WAUPUN — Celebrate Waupun 2023 has come and gone, a great weekend with countless activities and events, new and old.

All three days had the carnival, animal show, and live music, which were huge draws with thousands of attendees. Each day also had special events, including competitions, tours, and games.

Friday — Waupun hosted a Fire Department Water Barrel Competition, where regional fire departments showed off their firehose skills by playing a sort of reverse tug-of-war with a barrel tied to a line.

Saturday — The Waupun Hockey Association hosted their annual Cornhole Tournament, and Mayor of Waupun Rohn Bishop led the “See Waupun with Mayor Rohn” Sculpture Tour trolley rides.

Sunday — Community Worship Service, Car Show at Harris Mill Park, Kiddie Pedal Pull, Bingo, and Youth Legion Baseball games. Sunday night also saw the annual fireworks show over Juniper Hill. Waupun Pioneer took photos from Shaler Park with the End of the Trail statue in the foreground.
