WAUPUN — The Waupun Public Library is opening the floor to Waupun area businesses, giving an opportunity for local entrepreneurs and long-time businesses to give presentations on what they do in and for the community.
What leadership at the library propose is to have business owners present programs at the library in a series of panels and multi-business events. As part of this, the library sent out letters to 118 area businesses who may be interested in presenting at events such as these.
The types of programs that can be presented at the library include specific programs for one business, panel-style programs where 3 or 4 businesses speak briefly about what they have to offer, or open-house style programs where 8-10 businesses have their own table where attendees can obtain information about those businesses. However, direct sales would not be allowed during these events as they are intended for promotional purposes only.
