Waupun Hometown Heroes Recognized
WAUPUN — At the beginning of Waupun’s first home football game of the season, Modern Woodmen of America recognized two outstanding members of the Waupun community as Hometown Heroes: Jodi Kloosterboer and Daniel Harmsen.
Jodi is a dedicated mother of two boys who continues to give back to the community in many ways, including her involvement with Waupun athletics and her service as a former teacher and coach.
Daniel, a father of three boys, has also made a lasting impact through his work as a teacher, former coach, former FFA member, and involvement in numerous community and school activities.
Both Jodi and Daniel were recognized for their outstanding service and commitment to making Waupun a better community. Each received $100 to donate to a charity or organization of their choice.
Jodi chose to support REACH Waupun, while Daniel gave back to Rock River Intermediate School to help fundraise for an upcoming bowling field trip.
The awards were presented by Blake Dobbratz, Financial Representative with Modern Woodmen of America. Congratulations to Jodi and Daniel and thank you both for everything you do for the Waupun community!
