PHOTOS — Downtown businesses participate in “A Toast to Community” Wine Walk

WAUPUN — Twenty five local businesses participated in this year’s Downtown Waupun Wine Walk, “A Toast to Community”.

The event was held on Friday, May 1, from 5 to 9PM and included businesses reaching from both ends of downtown.

“Join us for Waupun’s annual Spring Wine Walk: Toast to Community – a celebration of the connections and memories that make our downtown special,” Discover Downtown Waupun wrote in the Facebook event. “With a nostalgic nod to past Wine Walks, we’re showcasing past wine walks and inviting you to relive the charm that made this event a local favorite. Sip and stroll through participating shops, enjoy curated wine tastings, and reconnect with friends old and new.”

The Big Blue Yummy food truck was also set up out front of Green Collar Grooming during the event. Go-Dutch Solutions was also selling mac-and-cheese and “Smores-to-go” in the Food Truck Alley.

A portion of the proceeds will go towards the Waupun Fire Department and Waupun Police Department.
