Beaver Dam Area Community Foundation Awards $54,000 to 51 Dodge County Nonprofits

BEAVER DAM — The Beaver Dam Area Community Foundation is proud to announce the recipients of its 2025 Grant Cycle II awards, distributing a total of $54,000 to nonprofit organizations across Dodge County. These grants support programs that strengthen families, enhance quality of life, and create opportunities for individuals of all ages to thrive.

Nonprofit organizations play a critical role in the vitality of Dodge County by filling essential service gaps, meeting emerging community needs, and improving the wellbeing of residents throughout the region. The Foundation is honored to support their ongoing work through the Community Fund.

Grant Cycle II Recipients

1000 Generations – $1,000
– Funds will support the addition of staff hours for service in Dodge County.

5 Stones Dodge County – $500
– Funds will support community education efforts aimed at preventing human trafficking.

Ashippun Historical Society – $500
– Funds will support facility improvements that allow continued preservation of local history.

Beaver Dam Auxiliary Inc – $500
– Funds will support healthcare-related community programming.

Beaver Dam Community Library – $500
– Funds will support launching the 500 Books Before Middle School program.

Beaver Dam Community Theatre – $1,000
– Funds will support enhancements to youth and community theater programming.

Beaver Dam Do Dads, Inc – $1,000
– Funds will help expand community service initiatives supporting children and families.

Beaver Dam Fire & Rescue – $1,000
– Funds will support the Cadet Program.

Beaver Dam Loaves and Fishes – $2,000
– Funds will be used to continue providing free community meals to those in need.

Beaver Dam Mission Center Inc – $500
– Funds will support outreach activities serving vulnerable populations.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of South Central Wisconsin – $1,000
– Funds will strengthen mentorship programming for Dodge County youth.

Bo William Hartwig Foundation – $2,000
– Funds will support mental health and suicide awareness programs.

Bridges of Dodge County – $2,000
– Funds will support peer-to-peer programming for individuals in recovery.

Church Health Services, Inc – $2,500
– Funds will provide medical, dental, and mental health services for underserved residents.

Community Care Preschool and Child Care Inc – $2,000
– Funds will support curriculum enhancements for early childhood education.

Dodge County Concert Association – $1,000
– Funds will support the continuation of the free student enrichment program.

Dodge County Fair Association – $1,000
– Funds will support fairground improvements benefiting year-round community events.

Dodge County Historical Society – $1,000
– Funds will support replacing light fixtures that no longer operate.

Dodge County Master Gardener Association – $500
– Funds will support educational gardening initiatives across the county.

First Lutheran Church – $500
– Funds will support ongoing operation of the Personal Essentials Pantry.

Friends of Horicon International Education Center – $1,000
– Funds will support enhancements to a large Horicon Marsh map.

Friends of Hutchinson Memorial Library – $500
– Funds will support the purchase of new floor mats.

Friends of Juneau Public Library – $1,000
– Funds will support installation of a children’s learning garden.

Friesland Community Park Board – $500
– Funds will benefit three new pickleball courts and one basketball court.

GPS Education Partners – $1,000
– Funds will benefit the Beaver Dam Education Center.

GVE – $1,000
– Funds will be used to purchase a Cricut for the Next Steps Program.

Horicon Historical Society – $1,000
– Funds will support shed repairs.

Horicon Phoenix Program – $1,500
– Funds will support the Baby Pantry.

Junior Achievement of Wisconsin – $1,000
– Funds will support Future Ready Dodge County.

Living Hope Food Pantry – $2,000
– Funds will provide 100 Thanksgiving and Christmas meals to local families.

Lost Lake Randolph Historical Society – $1,000
– Funds will support bell tower and facility improvements.

Marsh Haven Nature Center – $2,000
– Funds will support environmental education programming.

Mayville Open Door Inc – $2,000
– Funds will support programs addressing food insecurity.

PAVE – $2,000
– Funds will support the growth and retention of volunteers.

Playground Movement Beaver Dam – $1,000
– Funds will support hiring a consultant to develop a food forest.

Randolph High School – $500
– Funds will support the Future Health Professions HOSA Chapter.

Red Line Club of Beaver Dam – $500
– Funds will support team activities, mental health, and a tournament.

Rock River Coalition – $1,000
– Funds will support invasive species control and water education efforts.

Special Touch Ministry – $1,000
– Funds will support transportation needs and catering a Thanksgiving meal.

Start Healing Now – $1,000
– Funds will support overdose prevention through Overdose Aid Kits (OAK).

St. Katharine Drexel Conference of St. Vincent de Paul Society – $1,000
– Funds will support those encountering hardships, including rent, utility bills, and more.

St. Katharine Drexel School Foundation – $1,000
– Funds will support adding choral risers for school concerts.

St. John Lutheran Church – $500
– Funds will support the expansion of the publicly accessible playground.

The Arc of Dodge County – $1,000
– Funds will support handicap accessible transportation.

The Gathering Source – $2,000
– Funds will support the pantry program to provide fresh food and personal care.

Trinity Church United Methodist – $500
– Funds will support winter readiness supplies crafted by volunteers.

Village of Clyman – $1,000
– Funds will support accessibility improvements at the community park.

Waupun City of Sculpture (Create Waupun) – $500
– Funds will support new public art installations.

Waupun Historical Society – $1,000
– Funds will support replacement of aging UV blinds in the library.

Wayland Academy – $1,000
– Funds will support the Culture Convention. 

Wisconsin On Stage – $500
– Funds will support the purchase of a folio cabinet for folder storage.

The Beaver Dam Area Community Foundation proudly supports Dodge County nonprofits through two Community Fund grant cycles each year, along with one annual Impact Grant Cycle, and the Rural Vitality Grant Cycle. These programs allow the Foundation to address community needs today while investing in a brighter tomorrow.
