Press Release — BDACF Provides Grant to Friends of Fox Lake Clausen Park
FOX LAKE — The Friends of Clausen Park in Fox lake are pleased to announce the receipt of a $1,500 grant on 1/21/25 from the Beaver Dam Area Community Foundation. This grant will be utilized to enhance the playground at Clausen Park, transforming it into an accessible facility for children to enjoy.
Recently, the park has implemented several improvements, including the addition of a kayak launch, new restroom facilities, accessible sidewalks throughout the premises, and the planting of new trees. Looking ahead, the organization plans to add boat slips in the spring, facilitated by a collaborative partnership with the FLPO.
A groundbreaking ceremony was held last year for the new renovations to Clausen Park.
